This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on Prevify and how to manage your consent. It applies to the public site prevify.ai and to the SaaS platform accessible after logging in. It forms an integral part of the Privacy Policy .
Cookies are small text files stored by the browser on a user's device when they visit a website. They allow the site to remember information (preferences, login status, navigation choices) between visits or within the same session.
As well as traditional HTTP cookies (sent by the server and stored by the browser), Prevify also uses localStorage and sessionStorage: technologies similar to cookies, but which live entirely in the browser and are never transmitted to the server with each request.
Required for the Service to work. No consent is needed under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (the strictly necessary exemption) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract).

Performance cookies for optimising how the Service runs. We do not currently use any cookies in this category. They will only be introduced after this Policy is updated and fresh consent is obtained.
Cloudflare protects Prevify's infrastructure (SSL/HTTPS, DNS, DDoS protection). Cloudflare's cookies are technical and require no consent. They may be absent if the advanced features are not enabled on the plan in use.

Stripe handles payments for Prevify's paid plans. Its cookies are technical and strictly necessary for processing the payment securely; they are present only on the checkout pages. Card details never pass through Prevify's servers.

Some third parties acting as Prevify's sub-processors may set their own cookies directly in the user's browser. Each has its own privacy notice:
The data processed by Prevify's AI Coach — chat text, attached files, quote context — are not cookies. They are session data processed server-side through the Google Gemini API (Google Cloud). They are not stored in the browser as cookies and are not subject to this Cookie Policy.
For how that data is processed (purposes, sub-processors, user rights) please see the Privacy Policy, Section 5 (Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing) and Section 6 (Sub-processors).
localStorage and, if the user is registered and signed in, synchronised with their account on Supabase so they are consistent across devices.Consent given through the banner is valid for 12 months, after which the banner is shown again. If new non-necessary cookies are introduced, or if this Policy changes substantially, registered users will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance and fresh explicit consent will be sought before anything is enabled. For registered users the choice made is also stored server-side against the account: deleting the account deletes it along with all other data, and it is included in the downloadable copy of your data.
As far as cookies are concerned, you may withdraw or change your consent at any time through the "Preferences" panel reached from the cookie icon at the bottom left.
